These are the new Samsung Galaxy Book 3

New year, a new Galaxy smartphone and a new Galaxy Book3 should not be missing. We have all the information about the new Samsung notebooks.

New laptops were also presented as part of the big Samsung Unpacked event. We have already tested various models from the predecessors (e.g. the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 ) and have been quite satisfied with them so far.

We are excited about the new models, all of which should be available in February.

Galaxy Book3 Ultra

When it comes to smartphones, there’s an Ultra, so now there’s an Ultra model as well. And that’s really what it’s all about. Because for the first time, you get a dedicated graphics card here. You can choose between the RTX 4050 and the RTX 4070. The models with RTX 4050 are powered by a 13th generation Core i7 and the models with RTX 4070 have a Core i9 as CPU.

There is of course an AMOLED display with up to 500 nits, 120 Hz and 2880x1800px (WQXGA+). Everything you need in everyday life is also on board when it comes to the connections. You get 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen1, 1x HDMI 2.0, a microSD card reader and a 3.5mm jack connection. With an RRP of up to 3,799 euros, an HDMI 2.1 connection would have been nice.

Galaxy Book3 Pro 360

Again, like all other Galaxy Book3 models, there is a 120 HZ AMOLED display that gets up to 500 nits bright. The resolution, you guessed it, is 2880x1800px here too.
There are 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen1, 1x HDMI, 1x microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm jack connection.

Prices start at 1949 euros.

Galaxy Book3 Pro

With the normal Pro model – without a foldable display – there are two screen sizes to choose from 14″ and 16″. Otherwise, Samsung relies on high-contrast AMOLED technology with a resolution of 2880x1800px, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of up to 500 nits. The connections should also look familiar to you: 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen1, 1x HDMI, 1x microSD, and 1x 3.5mm jack.

The Galaxy Book3 Pro starts at 1749 euros.

Galaxy Book3 360

If you prefer a convertible but find the Pro models a bit too expensive, Samsung also has the Book3 360 at the start. You have the choice between a 13″ and a 15.6″ AMOLED touch display, which has a Full HD resolution and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. For your peripherals, you get a Thunderbolt 4 port, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen1, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen1, 1x HDMI 1.4b, 1x microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm jack. A lot can be done with this.

Prices start at 1449 euros.

And then, of course, there’s the regular Galaxy Book 3. At 1,099 euros, this represents the entry into the new Galaxy Books. Here you get a 15″ display and a current Core i5 of the 13th generation. 16GB RAM is also a decent size.
